Annotator privacy notice
Version 2026-09-28
Who is responsible
GetData, Belgrade, Serbia, is the controller of the personal data you give us when you register as an annotator. We process it under the Serbian Law on Personal Data Protection (ZZPL) and, for annotators in the European Union, under the GDPR (Article 3(2)). Contact: office@getdataspot.com.
What we collect
Your name, email, country and city; your specialty, role and clinical experience; the modalities, anatomical regions and annotation types you work with; your annotation experience and tools; languages; availability and time zone; hourly rate; your license number, licensing country and LinkedIn profile if you provide them; the license or diploma document you upload; and a record of the consents you gave, with date and IP address.
Why we use it
To create and secure your account, to review your application and verify your credentials, and to match you with annotation projects (legal basis: your consent and the steps needed before a contract with you). If you opt in, we email you about new projects that match your profile (legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from your profile).
Who sees it
Only the GetData team. We use service providers that process data on our behalf, such as our hosting provider and our email provider (Resend). We do not sell your data. When we propose you for a project, we share only what the project needs, after telling you.
How long we keep it
Your profile stays while your account exists. Uploaded license or diploma documents are deleted 30 days after we decide on your verification. Accounts whose email address was never confirmed are deleted after 12 months. Consent records are kept as long as the account, as proof of consent.
Your rights
You can access and correct your data on your profile page, withdraw optional consents there, and delete your account at any time with the Delete account button, which removes your profile, consents and documents. You can also ask us for a copy of your data, object to processing, or complain to the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection (Serbia) or to your local EU supervisory authority.
